All athletes must be academically eligible to participate: Academic eligibility requirements state that students must:
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the quarter prior to the start of the season.
  • Have no more than one E/I/U/M in the quarter prior to the start of the season.
    • Fall: Determined by 4th quarter of previous school year (all incoming 9th graders are eligible)

Physicals are valid for 14 months.

All student-athletes must have accident/health insurance to play sports. BCPS does not provide insurance for students. If you do not have insurance, it can be purchased online from Bob McCloskey insurance company.
