Quarter 1 Update and Announcements (Posted 10/11/2020)

Good Evening NAHS Families,

This week’s class schedule is as follows:

Monday – Synchronous (live) Instruction

Tuesday - Synchronous (live) Instruction

Wednesday – Synchronous (live) Instruction

Thursday - Synchronous (live) Instruction

*Friday – School Closed for Students

*(Note: Teachers will be accepting specific re-do’s and missed assignments on 10/16/2020. Students should check each course's Schoology page to be sure they are up to date with assignments).

As a reminder, student attendance is monitored daily based on their presence in class/Google Meets. On Wednesdays (or any other asynchronous day) students must login to Schoology and complete the assigned tasks during the school day to be marked present.

Also, student interim reports and grade updates will be available via Schoology this week. Be sure to check any comments next to your student's scores to determine if re-do is an option, if the task was incomplete or if the assignments is “missing”. Please continue to check email, communicate with instructors and support our students toward success.

Finally, September and October are nationally celebrated nationally as Hispanic Heritage Month. Please check our website each month to view different heritage month updates, student displays and instructional highlights. Thank you for your support of our students and please STAY SAFE.

Device Update (Posted: 08/27/2020)

In order to receive a device for your child this fall, we need your help by completing the correct form below:

1. If your child’s device is in need of a repair or in need of a device charger, please submit a repair ticket by going to:  Device Repair/ Charger Request (If you submitted the NAHS form to indicate that your child needed a charger or the device is in need of a repair, you must submit a repair ticket)

OR

2. If your child is new to Baltimore County Public Schools, is an incoming 6th grade student to NAHS who did not receive a device in the spring or this summer, or your child left their device in a BCPS school this past spring, please complete the following form:  New BCPS students/ Incoming 6th grade students without device/ Returning BCPS students whose devices were left in school (If you have previously completed the form indicating that your child did not receive a device, please do not complete this form again)
